![]() Weeping Willow Plant Description - The Weeping Willow is a large-sized to medium deciduous tree. Growing up to 80 feet tall, the Weeping Willow grows rapidly. Despite its quick growth, it has a short lifespan. Weeping Willow leaves are spirally arranged, narrow, and light green and turn a gold-yellow in autumn. The Weeping Willow flowers in early spring with a male pollinator. The Weeping Willow is an excellent tree for home landscaping. If used for home lanscaping, do not plant near sewer or water lines, as the roots tend to be damaging. We are now taking orders for our 2 Foot Cutting-grown Weeping Willow trees for Winter and Spring of 2010. We have retail packages of 5 trees for sale at $30.00 per package. Planting Instructions - Dig a hole three times the diameter of the root system, with a depth no deeper than the original soil line on trunk. Break up the soil to the finest consistency possible. Fertilize according to the recommendation of your local agriculture extension agents, or fertilize based on your own knowledge and experience. We do have balled and burlap trees available in wholesale quantities. Please call with the size and quantity that you are interested in, and we will provide you with a quote.
